Born in Seoul, raised in Warsaw, residing in London, Shin graduated Central Saint Martins with a degree in Graphic Design, and with a rather novel position of being one of the top 10 fashion bloggers in the UK. It's rather funny, because before deciding to pursue design studies Shin had contemplated studying modern History and the Second World War. To this day, she's more familiar with weapons and battle tactics than fashion designers. FACT.
Design has been with her from an early age and she was doing it as full time as it can get with highschool and her Asian mother breathing down her neck... mostly digital and web based projects. You should ask her parents what the dial-up bill read back in 2001.
She likes to fuse her interests together, so most of her uni projects explored design philosophy in modern history, and recently, fashion. So now she wonders why how fashion enthusiasts are wired, because she hopes to plug one of them in to experience a rather new interactive online interface. Shin also has passion for animals, photography, cycling, and dancing, so imagine the types of experiments she'd want to do! (Bring on the cat-cycling photo app)
She's still looking for a cosy lab and a good team to do all that with. In other words she's available for hire.
